Drawing of an old women

This is my final project for my class KDU College. There are A2 size and old lady was taken photo by my friend. Her face is looks like great and special. So I choose one photo by my friend for my final project..

Caricature is an exaggrerated portrait that distorts the essence of a person or thing to create an easily identifiable visual likeness. In this caricature, I draw an old and tired lady sitting down be the pavement taking a rest. Her face is drawn bigger with a protruding mouth.

The face is shaded with the side rather than the pointed tip of the pencil to produce a soft stroke. Her face is shaded with a soft brown tone with the forehead given a darker shade.

This technique is known as crosshatching. Generally it is formed from a series of intersecting lines. This technique is very common, generally because it is clean and simple.

This caricature is coloured to make it looks more attractive and eye catching.

30 July - 15 August 2011 for my holidays! (what should I do)

About my plan... more 2 weeks to holidays (what I do) before next semester start class on 16 August.. I will stay in KL for 2 weeks but I only stayed in Puchong, Selangor because I have my elder brother's house that place. So I have plan about something which is I want do sketching (drawing) at the field, the starbucks cafe, and the travelling while do sketch. Also I have to bring my materials of art wil be there.

Good if I have to learning about Interior Design because I need to do draw the buliding and the houses too for caricature and use exaggeration. As usually artists of caricature need draw background about the buliding and the etc. So I think better is go the shop book to read some books about the interior. I am able to be stay in shopping whole day. Beside, I can learn more in KL.

Oh yea, I have remember something that I have to training do the sculpture for caricature. I can take the opportunity to buy some clays in KL. I need found some the box for the painting (caricature).

If my elder brother still stay in KL, of course I wil stay at there for 2 weeks. if not, I worry I wil boring such as my friends get boring for a few days while holidays!

when I saw the old my painted this, I feel remembered that I am so useless because there is no nice and not skills in painting.. hmm.. But no wonder that I already skills in painting from 2007 until now.. Finally my wishes has been achieved! ^ < v

Last week I feel want draw (caricature) again while I have a lot of assignments. I think why did I always draw (caricature)? Because I draw everything of face people is interesting and funny!!

Last march I did finish my painting. There are spend time a lot to paintings about 2 days and 4hours to finished before go to do all my assignment for class. Lim Anuar is my friend, He is Art Director at Limkokwing University Creative of Techologhy. He is loves Batik Paintings so I able to do draw "Apple on batik painting" What a funny. ^^

"My Princess" Korea Drama

Last week I remembered that I always watch Korean Drama, So I want to found good any korea drama from Internet. Finally I find "my princess" then I try watch and feel if so nice.. No wonder I was laughing when this story is interesting. I want to contiune watch it until final episode 16 for 3 days and ingore all my asignments. It is really so touching!! I love this korea drama!!

Lee- Seol (Kim Tae-Hee) is a woman who enters college later than other girls. Like her peers, they dream of one day becoming a princess, but for Lee Seol she actually becomes a real life princess...

Park Hae-Young(Song Seung-Heon) is a 31 year old diplomat.. He is the sole successor of the Daehan Jonghap Group (the largest conglomerate in Korea). Park Hae-Young is also handsome and graduated from an Ivy League school. Agreeing to his grandfather's creed, Park Hae-Young decides to give up his rights to the company and all of his assets. This is all for a young woman named Lee-Seol.

Lee- Seol is a 25 year old college student, majoring in Art History. She doesn't think about the secrets surrounding her birth or her stepsister who teased her behind her back. Lee - Seol keeps a shabby appearance and works several part time jobs on top of her college career. She also has a crush on her professor Nam Jung -woo (Ryu Su-Yeong). One day, Lee-Seol becomes a princess overnight. In order to make her a princess, the President of the Daehan Jonghap Group offers all of his assets. 50,000,000 people stamp their approvals for her and royal families from all over the world sends congratulatory telegrams. Lee-Seol accepts the role of Princess, but she is now locked up in her palace and forced to study from dawn to late at night. Even worse, Park Hae-Young is her only instructor and he is snooty.

Yoon- Joo (Park Ye-Jin) is a 30 year old woman, who works as the director of Hae-Young Musem. Her father is the secretary for the President of the Daehan Jong Group. Yoon-Joo hopes to marry Park Hae-Young one day to gain control over the company. Her plans come to a halt when the Princess suddenly appears. For the Princess, the President of the Daehan Jonghap Group returns all of his property to the commnity. Even Park Hae-Young begins to have favorable feelings for ee Seol. Yoon-Joo can't forgive Lee Seol for what she has caused. Yoon Joo then makes a plan and if it succeeds Korea will lose their imperial family.

Jung-Woo (Ryu Su-Yeong) is a professor, archeologist and holds a PH.D in the Arts. He is also popular among the female students. Jung-Woo grew up in a poor family. Even now with his high status, his financial situation isn't so good. Because of this, Jung-Woo hasn't proposed to his girlfriend Yoon-Joo. One day, something strange happens. Jung-Woo's student Lee-Seol (who always submits papers late, but works hard at excavation sites) turns out to be a princess. Lee Seol then asks Jung-Woo to become an advisor for the "Redemption committee of Imperial Family Cultural Assets".

There are starsbucks we arrived at time 4.30pm. I am came with two my classmate of KDU for doing assignment with them of a group. A few customers waiting for next customer order to drinks. This is because there is promotion of 50% discount from 5pm - 7pm for Frappuccino drinks.

This is really busy write down and think something or meaning or some idea...we are talking somthing related to assignment. I am go and back to take photo that we need some photo for assignment. One of them uses a piece of paper to write down what they have discussed about case studies while think and idea and she is using her apple laptop to do typing to use the M.words. When almost finished our group assignment about 8.15pm while we are very hungry. Finally we finished around 8.30pm! Then I want to go eat dinner KFC while they go back home. ^ ^

How she so cute!! She asked me to drawing for her when I feel free time. So I am agreed with her. I did draw (color pencil) the detail more look so cute and exaggeration a bit. Finally I finish draw of my aunty then contiune to show my draw to her to see. She seem looks like smile and happy... I am glad that she like it. ^^

When at night, I feel have time a bit to drawing use (color pencil) before I have to do assignment for class KDU.. because I didn't use color pencil for a long time ago then I have to see if I draw a colors pencil are effective or not..

This is I did drawing of a artist USA, When I saw the photo that (original) who taken by Yuta artist from Japan. I feel really interesting his face, Yuta's artist had drawing to him use soft pastel + color pencil. So I wants to make drawing of him use color pencil like what Yuta's artist was doing this as his great panting. Finally it is seem still effective cause I really fun to draw (color pencil). I think I have always made drawings to color (color pencil) in the future.

On the eve of Chinese New Year, Most of my relatives are coming my house about 6.30pm or 7pm. We are big family and relatives safisfied it up dinner and we are together play with fire, we feel very excited and happy before 12am.. After last night, we will go to cousin's condominium in the morning at 11am to lunch for Chinese New Year with relatives and still stay their at there until about 7pm then go the restaurant at night near at Komtar to eating dinner until 10.30pm.. Finally we also went home with each..
